TEDC was founded in 1979 as Tulsa Economic Development Corporation, an organization charged with promoting and sustaining small business growth in Tulsa. In 2005, the TEDC Creative Capital brand was developed to reflect their expanded range of programs and geographic reach. Over the last five years, they have provided or located more than $150 million to help nearly 300 small businesses start or expand. TEDC's website was over seven years out of date, hard to manage, and the platform it was built on was not forward compatible. They needed a website that was easy to manage, mobile-friendly, and responsive while staying within the ADA's 508 compliance.

In addition to redesigning the website, Maennche was also responsible for creating a software-based application portal that facilitated an increase in submissions for the Tulsa County RESET program. Any businesses that were suffering from closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic were eligible to apply.

Maennche created and implemented a new responsive website design that transformed TEDC's online presence. Not only did this website meet mobile-friendly requirements, but special care was also taken to ensure ADA compliance at each step of the design and development process.
